MESSAGE FROM THE HEAD | | We hope you find the information here helpful whilst giving you a little insight into what makes us tick.
The school was built in 1977 and is set in beautiful grounds. The school is two formed entry with 243 pupils currently on roll.
The school has an excellent team of governors, staff, parents and children who are all committed to achievement and high standards. We are very caring and friendly and believe that our children are offered a rich and varied curriculum which encourages them to realise their full potential. Every child really does matter.
We offer a wide variety of extra curricular activities to enhance the learning experience. From singing to arts, tennis to football…we cater for many needs. The school has a wonderful choir, fantastic orchestra and passionate sports teams steeped in history!
We aim to provide an educational journey that children feel proud of. For further information please do not hesitate to contact us. We will be delighted to talk to you.

| ROALD DAHL DAY |  On the 16th October 2009 Gomer Junior School had a fantastic Roald Dahl Day. We all got to come into school dressed as our favourite Roald Dahl character. It was fab. Mr Williams or should I say Mr Wonka was giving out 1 golden learner ticker to each class, for the teachers to decide who deserves it. I got the ticket for my class.
Mr Potter came as a spider from James and the Giant Peach and Miss Jackson came as a Golden ticket from ...more details | ......................................................................................................................... | THE BIG DRAW! |  On Friday 23rd of October parents were invited into school for the afternoon to take part in the big draw with their children. Various art activities took place in all classrooms and the event was thoroughly enjoyed by all! See more pictures in the gallery. | ......................................................................................................................... | RSPCA SUCCESS |  At the end of last term, the newspaper editorial team collected food for the RSPCA. Over 500 tins of food were collected and donated! Thank you for your support. Following the success of last year's collection we are again collecting pet food donations for the RSPCA and will happily receive any pet food that you can spare.
