This week we are promoting anti-bullying week. With the increasing move towards technology the focus this year is cyber bullying – Bullying through ICT - mobile phones/internet/wizkid etc). We believe that a little knowledge and understanding through guided discussion can help promote safer technological use.
Throughout the week, the children will be taking part in different activities to raise awareness of the possible issues. Take the opportunity this week to discuss this issue with your child and help us prepare your children for the modern world.

| 5th November 2009 - ROALD DAHL DAY | |
On the 16th October 2009 Gomer Junior School had a fantastic Roald Dahl Day. We all got to come into school dressed as our favourite Roald Dahl character. It was fab. Mr Williams or should I say Mr Wonka was giving out 1 golden learner ticker to each class, for the teachers to decide who deserves it. I got the ticket for my class.
Mr Potter came as a spider from James and the Giant Peach and Miss Jackson came as a Golden ticket from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. All the other teachers dressed up as witches. They certainly didn’t need to though! It was incredibly hard for Rosie Hill to sit on her chair because her costume was enormous, she came as the Enormous Crocodile. When we went out to break it was like looking in a mirror because there were so many people the same as us.
Unfortunately we didn’t get away with missing lessons.
