| On the 16th October 2009 Gomer Junior School had a fantastic Roald Dahl Day. We all got to come into school dressed as our favourite Roald Dahl character. It was fab. Mr Williams or should I say Mr Wonka was giving out 1 golden learner ticker to each class, for the teachers to decide who deserves it. I got the ticket for my class.
Mr Potter came as a spider from James and the Giant Peach and Miss Jackson came as a Golden ticket from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. All the other teachers dressed up as witches. They certainly didn’t need to though! It was incredibly hard for Rosie Hill to sit on her chair because her costume was enormous, she came as the Enormous Crocodile. When we went out to break it was like looking in a mirror because there were so many people the same as us.
Unfortunately we didn’t get away with missing lessons.
